Warner of Mid vale possesses all three of these. Trained, along with several hundred other Utah Power and Light company employes in first aid, he had the satisfaction of acquiring new and useful knowledge. Then in Monroe one day he chanced upon a woman whose father had been overcome by carbon monoxide fumes. She was in haste to obtain aid, and Warner ran with her back to her home. Applying his knowledge of the prone pressure method of resuscitation, he saved the man's life. This was undoubtedly all the reward Warner ever would have wanted. But Thursday, before a gathering of officials and fellow employes of the utility, he was presented with the medal of the National Safety council in recognition. of his skill, his readiness to serve fellow human and the success it brought There is a moral to all this. It scarcely needs to be pointed out All of us, if we will, can make ourselves more useful in life. Those who do earn high credit for themselves.
