Show SUBURBAN NEWS IN BRIEF j ' Lions' Give Blind Braille Dictionary MURRAY A 32-volum Braille dictionary Monday had been made available to Utah's blind by the Murray Lions club. The dictionary, requiring more than eight feet of shelf space, was purchased for $250 through James E. Powell, chairman of the club's sight conservation con-servation committee. It was presented at a meeting of the club Thursday to William W. Nichol of Murray, editor of the Braille News Letter, published at the Utah Center for the Blind, 138 Second East street, Salt Lake City, 4 where the dictionary will be available avail-able for public use. SANDY Jordan Post No. 33, American legion, will stage a program pro-gram and dance at 8 p. m. Monday in the Sandy L. D. S. recreation hall to honor the 16 enrollees for selective service from local board No. 16 who will be inducted Thursday. Thurs-day.
