Show CANADIANS WAIT RITES OFLEGION Regional officers of ths Canadian legion and ladiee' auxiliary arrived Saturday at 9:40 a m. from Loa i - . i i -. . , . . ngviee, vmi., to nn inetaiiaiiun ceremonies for the local post at tha annual banquet at the New-house New-house hotel. The program will start at 7:13 p. m., according to Percy G. Clark, retiring commander. Tha Cakfornla officials Included Mra Annie Evens, regional commander com-mander of the auxiliary; Max Brick-neil. Brick-neil. regional legion commander, and Nick Rimmer, vioe commander The banquet will be a Joint gathering gath-ering of local post No. P7, Cansdiaa Legion of the Britlah Empire Service Serv-ice league, and auxiliary. New officers offi-cers of both organisations will be Inatalled. George H. Clapham will succeed Mr. Clark as post commander, while Mra. Jemima Gates will succeed Mra. William F. Carey as commander com-mander of the post auxiliary. Highlight of the evening will be the unfurling of Britlah and American Ameri-can flags purcnased recently by the auxiliary. |
