OCR Text	Show R. O.T.C. Cadet Wins Order of Distinction Associates of Cadet Corporal Mark Weed, company B, West high school R. O. T. C battalion, Thureday kept their eyea on him after an order from Sergeant A. C. Hurley, commandant, com-mandant, awarded him the Military Order of Distinction, third claas, and urged cadets "to smulata this soldierly student and keep the battalion bat-talion to the high etandard ha Is setting." Competing with 24 ether picked men, Corporal Weed was chosen for his outstanding dress, deportment, deport-ment, attitude and military knowledge. knowl-edge. It Is ths highest award attainable at-tainable for a Junior cadet. Corporal Weed Is also presldsnt of ths junior class at Wast high school.
