Order of Business for the Session to Be Decided Upon. v , WASHINGTON, Jan. ll-There will be a caucus of RepubllcafT Senators soon to decide de-cide on an order of business for the Senate. Sen-ate. The "steering committee" has asked each Republican Senator for his opinion aa to what legislation 'should be pressed this session. When the replies are received re-ceived the committee will - formulate a programme for caucus, approval. It Is known that a majority of the Republican Senators are opposed to the omnibus Statehood bill, but as a minority of the Republicans are very much interested in that measure It is expected that the disposition dis-position of this matter will occasion quite a contest. ... - , . |
