Show PROTECTION NEEDED, ' THE DOCTORS SAY Salt Lake county physicians declare they feel the need of protection by the law from Christian Scientists, clairvoyants clairvoy-ants and osteopaths. At the annual banquet ban-quet of the County Medical society . Dr. H.-S. Scott expressed that sentiment, w hich was cordially received by the physicians phy-sicians present, - .New and . improved health laws are needed, and Dr. Scott called attention to the matter. The Dr. Payne case was also treated by Dr. Scott, who said that the attitude of the' other physicians In the matter had not been properly presented to the public. The physicians had a right to demand that all the evidence in the . case be presented. ' Dr. -King, the retiring president, complimented com-plimented his successor. Dr. A. C. Ewing, and Dr. Ewlng presided as toastmaster. . Dr. E. V.-Sliver was on the programme to speak, but he not being present, his place was taken by Dr. J. S. Crltchlow. Dr. A. C. Behle spoke on "Human Nature as the Best Study": Dr. La Motte spoke of "Tactile Strabismus": Dr. Worthlng-ton Worthlng-ton of "Motor Aphasia,' and Dr. H. D. NUes on . "Lapsus Linguae." j The banquet was a delightful affair. |
