"This gives us seventy-five school trustees, - many of whom, on- account of other business,' are -unable to give much time to the study of school affairs, and.- besides, the salaried paid each board are totally insufficient in-sufficient ot justify, the expenditure of much time, so that the directors really work from motives of public Interest. But the entire amount paid all the boards would pay salaries for one board that would permit the members to devote de-vote all their, time to school affairs..
