Show TOOK HIS BEST DOG And Now Jobii Robinson Has No One to Care for His Cows. It wss a touching story that John Robinson told this morning1 to Deputy City Recorder Slmondl about his shepherd dog. Mr. Robinson says that the boys on the dog catcher's wagon took his dog several days ago, and that he has been put to great Inconvenience through the absence of his canine assistant. The dog, he said, brought the cows in every night and tended to them constantly con-stantly Since the dog was taken this duty has devolved upon his motherless little girls. Mr. Robinson says that the boys took the dog from his back porch. At the time -the dog had his collar on and the license tax was on the collar. The collar col-lar was taken off the dog's neck and left on the porch. Mr. Robinson says he wouldn't take Iioo ror tne aog. Mr. Slmondl looked the matter up In the records and found that the license did not expire until December 6, 1903. Mr. Robinson was assured that the matter would be thoroughly Investigated Investi-gated at once. |
