Show NOTES OF LOCAL UNIONS. , - The dull peaeon IrrTfabor circles is expected ex-pected to come to an end with the end of the month, and September-will see a revival In all the trades. J. T. Lavery and Charley Smith, Jr of the Utah Federation of Labor organization or-ganization committee made short addresses ad-dresses to the Maintenance Of Way Employees' Em-ployees' meeting Sunday. The char ter of the new union has not yet arrived, ar-rived, but Is hourly expected. The Bricklayers union will not take part In the Labor day parade. This decision de-cision wa reached at a recent meeting and Is the result of a feeling among the members that they would prefer to spend the day resting to marching In the hot sun. A number of Individual members may, however, walk in the parade. The president end a number of member mem-ber of the .Bartenders' union are enjoying enjoy-ing a vacation along the Weber river. Credential card for the Stale Federation Fede-ration of Labor convention at Ogden next month are now being sent out by the federation secretary, 8. L. Spiegel, to all the affiliated locals. The number num-ber of members of each 'local on whom assessment dues have been paid during the half year 1 taken as the basis of representation, each local being entitled en-titled to an extra delegate for every hundred members or fraction thereof ever loo. |
