Show IMPROVEMENTS MADE BY CITY IN 1904 i The report of the Board of Public Works for the year 1904 has been prepared pre-pared and filed by Clerk W. H. Wilkins. The report shows that nearly 15 miles of cement sidewalks, three-fourths of a mile of street paving, 3.57 miles of sewers and 3.91 miles of water mains comprise the municipal improvements completed during the year. The total cost of Improvements was $233,232.28, which was lower, pro rata, than for the preceding year. The total cost of asphalt paving was $85,198.22. The grading of Brigbam street cost $4040.92. The sewers cost $26,507.39, and it in proposed to lay 10 6-12 miles of sewers in 1905. New water mains cost $27,449.19. and the cement ce-ment sidewalks cost $80,166.15. Private persons have laid 2.75 miles of sidewalks. |
