The high area overlying the Rocky Mountain region yesterday . morning remains re-mains practically stationary. Though apparently ap-parently slowly dacreaalng in energy, it still dominates the weather conditions of the entire western half of the country, where the clear and oold weather of yesterday yes-terday continues, though the temperatures are to some extent more moderate. The disturbance over the Southern States has disappeared off the Florida coast and the weather in that region Is now gradually clearing. The low area noted over the Upper Lakes remains stationary, though it has increased both In energy and extent during the past twenty-four hours. Light to heavy rains are again reported from the Southern States, though the bulk of the precipitation fell yesterday. Snow also fell over the Middle Atlantic States. Rain was falling this morning at-Jacksonville, and enow at Scranton. Knoxvllle reports re-ports 1.06 Inches and Norfolk 1.04. A thunderstorm thun-derstorm was reported at Charleston. L.
