The Brilliants fluttered from the top of the percentage column Monday night like a pan of milk from the top shelf and carefully care-fully presented the Nonpareils with the entire three games. The Nonpareils put up a fair game of ten pins, but are some what off championship cham-pionship form yet. The " Brilliants like a lot of in-and-outers, some-tun some-tun getting a big score and then bowling bowl-ing below 150. Hanes of the Nonpareils did the best work of the evening, making ma-king a total score for the three games of 663 or an average of 221, ..only three . points below the record held by Whitney Whit-ney of" the Railroads. His high game was 2C3. Bob Toung did the best work for the Brilliants with an average of 392 2-3. The defeat of the Brilliants places the Tuxedos in first place in the league column. Secretary Sam Karpf of the American Bowling league is in the city and was an interested spectator of Monday night's match. He Is here for the purpose pur-pose of encouraging the Western bowlers bowl-ers to affiliate with the American congress con-gress and to urge them to send teams to the tournament of the American Bowling Bowl-ing congress to be held in Milwaukee next February. Mr. Karpf was much pleased and surprised to see what a isld bowling has on the sport lovers of Salt Lake and also at the high scores bowled.
