Wearied of efforts to force Comer to de-. de-. liver her money to her. It Is asserted. Miss McDonnell called the executor a thief and defaulter " and declared he had never earned an honest dollar In his life. In retaliation re-taliation Comer started suit for slander and in his own behalf caused an attach-' ment to be issued against himself for Miss ' McDonnell's money. As a result the Iega-. Iega-. cy has been tied up for four years. In the opinion handed down today sus- talning a jury in the Circuit court, which believed Mi.is McDonnell's denials of the Blander charges. Judge Freeman of the Branch Appellate reviews the entire remarkable re-markable record of the litigation.
