Brooklyn, with as much enjoyment as their more favored brethren who depend on hearing the muslo of the dance rather than feel its vibrations. ; ' The occasion was the second annual masquerade and ball of the club, which Is made up exclusively ot deaf mutes. Of course, there were ' many present who were both able to hear and to talk audibly. Just how the unfortunate ones were able to -dance was a puzzle to many until one of the members explained ex-plained by writing that the mutes could feel the vibrations of muslo with the same sense of keenness that a good musician could detect a wrong note In a bar of music . |
