Show : SCHOONER WRECKED; SIX MEN'MISSIHG , ' 1 VICTORIA, E. C Feb. 17. The three-masted three-masted schooner Emma Utter, with 360, 000 feet of lumber, from Gray's Harbor to San Francisco, which cleared Aberdeen Aber-deen February 7th, was sighted today on ' the rocks at Barclay Sound entrance. Capt. Hanson and five of the crew abandoned the vessel on the 11th instant, in-stant, leaving Seaman Henry Byndall , . on board. Byndall was rescued by two. Indians today. Nothing has been heard ' of the captain and the other men since they quit the schooner. I The Utter is breaking up and will be a total loss. |
