Show MINOR WORK OF THE CITY COUNCIL Land and Water Commissioner Joseph McKnight reported to the Coun- 1 cil that 320 acres of land at the mouth of Emigration canyon, which cost the city J4500 have been squatted upon by W. K. Perkins and William Sederlof, who have secured State patents for the same. The matter was referred to the City Attorney. The request of Enqulst and Fallquist, asking for- a rentfwal of their liquor license was denied. The license was recently re-cently revoked for circulating obscene literature. A petition was presented asking the Council to extend the watermalns from Second North and Eighth West, a half block north, then a block east through Simondi avenue. - Fire Chief James Devlne notified the Council that he had removed Amos Moreton from the payroll and the matter mat-ter was referred to the Committee on Fire department. A complaint was recently re-cently made that Moreton refused to pay . his house rent. Moreton will be cited to appear before the Council Monday Mon-day night to show cause why he should not be dismissed from the service. A number of other minor matters were disposed of. |
