Show RECORDER MUST FILE RECORDS AS PRESENTED SMaBSaBSBBaSBSaSBSISBBB County Attorney George Westervelt decided yesterday that it is not necessary neces-sary for the County Recorder or any of his deputies to pass upon the sufficiency of an acknowledgment before filing a document for record. The question came to him yesterday for decision when a document containing contain-ing glaring errors was filed for record. He held that though the errors might Invalidate the record, a refusal to record re-cord such a document could result in a suit being brought against the Recorder for damages.
