Show UNHAPPY WIVES SUE FOR DIVORCE Two complaints for divorce were filed in the District court this- morning. : Julia Dewey asks to be freed from her husband, Charles B. Dewey, on the grounds of desertion. The parties.were married at ' Wichita, Kan.. December 1, 1888, and have one child for which the plaintiff asks entire care nad control. con-trol. S,arah F. Henry asks that the bonds of matrimony heretofore existing between be-tween herself and B. F. Henry be forever for-ever dissolved, on the grounds that the defendant deserted her soon after their marriage in 1899, and for three years has willfully neglected to provide her with the common necessaries. The plaintiff asks for $50 attorney's fees, $10 a month as alimony and permission to use her former name of Frances H. Derrick. |
