The present details' will not go Into effect until August 15th, when the law creating the general staff becomes operative. It Is not Intended to change the stations or assignments of any officers detailed upon the general staff for the present, nor until they are needed on general staff work. In the foregoing list some of the officers have not yet reached the grade to which they have been assigned, but they will be promoted before the law goes into effect.
