The excited man aid he was Samuel Jones, cribbed tbe pawnticket and bolted for the train. - The next day Peck rot a letter from fbe Springfield polio. "W hav arreated tbe owner of the inclosed pawnticket,' ' , the let-ter let-ter aid. "We don't bin eve any man would pawn hi fU tsetn. W think th ticket was civeu for some stolen goods. If it should be the teeth, we are stuck." . The police apologised to Jones when they gave him back us teeth.
