POCATELLO, Ida, Oct.; lOThe Pemocratia county .convention for-Ban nock county was held here last si'bt, attended by a big crowd, that com pletely filled the . city hall ; . J. Worth Clark- was-elected perma nent Chairman and Willis Beeves wsa elected Secretary. The committee reported re-ported a set of resolutions : that ring true, as 1 the following : excerpts will show: ' "Believing our cause Is Just and that the principles we advocate meet the hearty approval c? all good people irrespective ir-respective of party. "We are heartily opposed to the nn American polities that obtain in this county ana call the attention of . the voters of this county to the personnel of the Bepublican machine that la so autocratically ruling our destinies and ask all independent voters to stand with us in accomplishing its overthrow. Citizenship is above party and the time has now come when the voters must register their dissent to the . methods of these political highbinders. "We heartily commend and indorse the Hon. Fred Dubois, who as Senator from this State hss so long and faith fully served ' in its interests and in making the fight in which he is now engaged he has our hearty support and we hereby pledge our nominees for the Legislature to vote all the time for his election as United States Senator. " We point with pride to the Hon. C. 0. Sfockelager, our nominee for Governor who tor years has held boa ored position among us and -who- has never yet proven unfaithful to the peopled interests, a man whom w all love and respect and whose election is sure."
