Show .:,-. ; ' , OVERTHROWING EOSSES. , p V . ' The, New York Nation, which is an independent paper with Democratic leanings, says that within three weeks Mr. Parsons, backed heartily by President Presi-dent Roosevelt has absolutely overthrown 'the two sets, of Republican bosses, which have so long controlled con-trolled New York; that for the first time, almost, within the memory of man, the Republican organization organi-zation in New York City is in charge of an honest and fearless leader, and it warns the Republicans, while glorying in the disaster which has overtaken the whole train of Republican bosses, that they must realize that the ground thus suddenly won must be sternly held, and says : j ; "Behind the leaders must stand the rank and file, eager to complete the rout of evil elements in their own organization, as well as those into whose hands the Democracy has been betrayed." If such things can be done in New -York, why cannot a like revolution be made in Utah! "Why cannot notice be served on the men who have controlled con-trolled the, elections in this State for ten years that they must quit and get out of politics, or else resign from their places as God's special agents in the Mor-mon Mor-mon church? It is all in the hands of young Utah to make the revolution complete on the 6th of next month, and it would be better for them, better for Utah and would save their children infinite heartburnings and perplexities, and above all would make Utah an American State.
