Show WANTS DAMAGES FOR WOUNDED FEELINGS For an alleged false arrest and thereby there-by being held up to public ignominy, Mrs. Julia Murphy yesterday filed suit in the District court for $10,000 damages dam-ages from Bobert L. Booth. of the Booth Mercantile company of Bingham Bing-ham Junction. ' According to the complaint she sold Booth certain' property in Idaho for $1000. Not being' satisfied with the transaction, it is charged that Booth eaused Mrs. Murphy 's arrest on the grounds of obtaining money under false pretenses. Booth is alleged to have charged her with attempting to cheat and defraud him out of . monev. A hearing Was had before Justice of the Peace J. J. Williams Wil-liams of Bingham Junction, . and on May. 1, 1906, Mrs. Murphy was discharged. |
