Show RED CROSS DRIVE IS PROGRESSING Receipts of the current Red Cross drive being conducted in Bingham district under chairmanship chair-manship of Bob Jimas, president of the junior chamber of commerce, com-merce, have not as yet been tabulated, tab-ulated, since all workers have not checked in. The final phase of the campaign cam-paign has been reached and it is ; evident that general response to ! the appeal will be good While I here is little hope of attaining the $7000 quota set by the Salt Lake county drive chairman for Bingham, receipts to date indicate indi-cate that approximately $3000 will be sent from this commu- i nity to the war service fund of the Red Cross. Many organizations voted donations do-nations from their treasury. The Princess theatre cooperated by running a Red Cross appeal short , and making nightly collections. Bingham Canyon Jaycets and Jay-C-Ettes spearheaded the house-to-house canvass. They were assisted by a number of excellent women workers who gave unstintingly of their time.
