Show IDAHO TO VOTE ON SIX .AMENDMENTS BOISE, Ida, Sept. 17. At the eomlng fall election the voters of the State of Idaho will be called trpon'to vote on sis onestiona relative rela-tive to constitutional amendments. Secretary of 8tate Uibson is sending to the County Auditors of the State notifications. The questions ques-tions to he submitted, which will he certified to the Auditor of each county at the time of eertifring of the State tickets will he numbered and in form as follows: 1. Shall section of article 8 of the constitution-of the State of Idaho he ao amended as to authorise a majority of the qualified electors of counties, cities, towns, village and other subdivisions of the Stat to incur public Indebtedness I 2. Shall section 4 of article 8 of th constitution con-stitution of th Bute of Idaho be so amended as to permit counties, cities, towns, villages and other subdivision of th Stat to vo bonds in aid of railroad and other works f internal improvement! . Shall aection 10 of article It of th constitution of th State of Idaho be so amended a to permit the County Commissioner Commis-sioner to be elected -4er a term of four ycr' a . 4. Shall section 6 of article 18 of th constitntion be amended ao a to empower the Legislature by general and uniform law to proTide for county, township and precinct officers! ' 6. Shall section 8 of article 7 of the eon-1 eon-1 atitution of the State of Idaho be so amended as to permit exemption from taxation of lines of railroad hereafter to be constructed for a period of not exceeding ten years! 6. Shall aection 9 of article 7 of th constitution con-stitution of th Stste of Idaho he so amended as to limit taxation of property for State purpose to ten (10) mills on each dollar of assessed valuation except by a vet of th people ! |
