Show under advisement until this morning. In this case it is charged that Lansdon, while Assessor, secured from the Board of Commissioners a rebate ef $40 on account of the taxes of F. M. Brown, that amount having been allowed him on account of taxes paid- by him in Idaho county that year under the migratory mi-gratory stock law. - I - 'Attention' was called , to the matter 1 by an apparent changa in the r figures f on the duplicata manifold receipt, this having been made to read $123, though the amount paid by Brown was $163. Brown was on the stand today. He testified he did not get a rebate in 1904 and was not entitled to one. Lansdon Lans-don testiled it was a mistake of some kind.
