Show LIGHT TRUST DIRECTORY WILL BE CLEANED OUT; CAMPBELLTO HOLD ON It is known now beyond the shadow of a doubt that ,the Harriman interests are the purchasers of the Utah Light and ; Power company. At a meeting to be held this week every official of the church, from Joseph Smith cfownt who holds a place on the-directory of the light and power company, will be. retired re-tired and new men of business will take their places. It is probable that Manager Campbell will remain at the executive head. It is the general opinion that Man- . ager Campbell could make a real rapid transit affair of tha present street car system if he were from under the influence in-fluence of the men who have been 'the handicap and mill- . stones of the enterprise. Mr. Campbell has the good will of his men and is popular with the public, 'and with the millstone removed from around his neck he is expected to make a fine showing, : . ' - " |
