Show MOTHER'S DAY PROGRAM SET j Members of the Bingham LDS Sunday school will honor mothers moth-ers of the ward with flowers, songs, poems and stories at a ' special program to be held in the ! chapel at 10 a.m. May 13, according accord-ing to Aaron Beard, Sunday school superintendent. Following an outline suggested by Mayor Earl J. Glade of Salt i Lake City and other members of the LDS church Program committee, com-mittee, every age group in the Sunday school from the kindergarten kinder-garten to the adult class will be The program, which will be conducted by Mrs. Lola Barton and Mrs. Alice Johnson, will be presented in a manner entirely different than in former years and will include the following num bers: Opening song by the congregation congre-gation and invocation given by-Lena by-Lena Jean Jensen. Following a song by the kindergarten and nursery class, Tommy James, Darlene Bell, Ellen Beth Thomas, Carmen Ray and Ronald Boren of the Primary group will present pre-sent poems. This will be followed follow-ed by a song from the First Intermediate In-termediate department directed by the teachers, Mrs. Eva West and Bonnie Jean Johnson. Poems, a prayer and brief remarks re-marks will be given by Bishop David C. Lyon, Ethel Richards, Ned Miller, Jack Robison and D. F. Johanson. A vocal solo by Bernarr Beard, an organ solo by Mrs. Nora Austin and remarks by Elmo A. Nelson of the super-intendency, super-intendency, will precede the presentation of flowers and booklets book-lets to the mothers by girls of the advanced junior class directed by Virginia Harris and Helen Mor- j ris. Following the closing song by the congregation, the benediction will be offered by Clinton Ro-! bison, assistant superintendent. |
