Two books will be In operation In the betting ring. One . will be , equipped with a telephone and the other with, a telegraph instrument. In the book the bets will be telephoned to Kansas City, Kan., for registration, while in the oth-' er the bets will be received and wired to a Pallas, .Tex., poolroom. . Every person who- enters the gate will have a badge wlth a different number. - :, - When - a person desires" to make a wager he will give the name of, the horse and the bookmaker will take the number of bis badge. , The bookmaker will take his money and telephone or telegraph the bet out of . the State for registration. . - :- f |
