Show OFFICIALS ARRIVE IN A PRIVATE CAR - '- . H. B. Chamberlain; third vice-president and general traffic manager of the Erie railroad, accompanied by H. H. Gardiner vice-president f the Bush terminals in New York City, and C. E. Annett of the Mechanics Trust- company com-pany of Bayonne. N. J4 arrived in the private car of the first-named gentle- man from the west this morning. Mr. Chamberlain stated that the trip had been one of pleasure unalloyed With business, beginning with a trip to New Orleans, thence to Texas points. El Paso and the entire coast. He is much Impressed with the growth of the entire West since his last visit of .six years ago, but says that Los Angeles has outstripped all Its competitors in the matter of advance. He looks for Salt Lake to follow the suit of Los Angeles, and fears that when he returns here in another six years the place will have grown out of his knowledge. General Agent Frank T. Vincent of the Erie office is acting as host to the party, and an organ concert con-cert has been arranged for this afternoon. |
