Tha movement toward a betterment of dvlo conditions will become a permanent organisation this evening at the mass meeting f citiaens called for this evening even-ing at the auditorium of the r M. C. A. The Clvio league, as It will be called, has heretofore been only In the process of formation. Now It Is the Intention to make it "permanent and -attempt some concerted action. A nominating committee consisting pf Mrs. Elisabeth C. Jennings. Mrs. Elisa- Prltchard J. T. Harris, the Rev. Charles J. Fmmd. and Mrs. A. V. Taylor, has already submitted its report, and will tonight name the following for officers of 1" Prninent association: For president, presi-dent, Frank B. Stephens: vice-president. rArW!,; oonf vloe-predant: Mns. W. W. Riter; secretary, Oscar L. Cox; treasurer, Mrs. Simon Bamberger. For a board of governors it will name Mrs. L. M.
