Mr, - Rice assumed obligations and made payments on a home for ohlldren to. the amount of 110,000, thus relieving the embarrassment of a number of charitable residents of Zlon. The move was Inaugurated last fall, when Judge Willis Brown of the Juvenile Ju-venile court made an address to the Women's Clubs at 8pringvJlle last 0, tober. He urged that a farm commit- tee be appointed, and the committee as named was composed of Mrs. Hugh Park and Mrs. C H, McMabon of Salt Lake, Mrs. L. E. Ostein of Logan and others for the purpose of selecting a site and raising funds with which to make the purchase.
