Show MINING BRIEFS. ' M. M. Johnson of the Newhouse staff of engineers came in from California yesterday to confer with Mr. New-house, New-house, and will depart for the Dominion Domin-ion , copper properties in British Columbia Co-lumbia within a few days. Ore and bullion settlements yesterday, yester-day, according to McCornlck & Co.. amounted to $42,000, divided as follows: Silver, lead, copper and gold ores, $15,-000; $15,-000; base bullion, $27,000.
