Show fEENEY CAPTURES. MR. BURGLAR IN HIS ROOM "Oh, Boss, don't shoot me. You've got me dls time." pleaded Frank Gregg, colored, col-ored, as J. D. , Feeney, proprietor of the Eagie hotel, stood over htm last night with a gun. Late last night Feeney was aroused by some one passing through his room. He arose and after turning on the light found Gregg against the wall trying try-ing to make his escape from the room. Officers Robinson and Moore were called and placed Gregg under arrest. In searching Gregg's room at the hotel Aleck Hampton, colored, was found In Gregg's bed. He was also arrested. Gregg was charged with burglary in the first degree In a complaint sworn out before be-fore Judge Diehl this morning. The eom- I plaint was made out by Assistant County J Attorney Wlllard Hanson. |
