Show BLOCKING OUT ORE IN 1 ' WHITE KNOB PROPERTY. Senator MacBeth and Frank M. Ley-land. Ley-land. who have a lease on the White Knob copper properties at Mackay, Ida., have upwards of 100 men employed em-ployed in the old mine, and a large tonnage ton-nage of ore Is belns taken from, the ground and placed in the ore bins'. It is said there Mill b no attempt made to start the smelter on the ores until next spring, and in the meantime there will be su?clent ore blocked out and hoisted to insure a run on the mineral for an indefinite period after the, firing up of the furnaces next year. Under the regime of the White Knob Copper company, the operating expenses ex-penses of the company are sajd to have been out of proportion to the productiveness pro-ductiveness of the ground. Under practical prac-tical and conservative management the ground is being systematically developed devel-oped and the results being obtained are sure to make the mine a profitable investment in-vestment during the coming year. |
