C James, running on the I'nion Pacific freight service, ser-vice, wore severely Injured In a peculiar accident that occurred at 10. 30 o'clock last night as their train was nearing Echo. The. entire boilerhead blew out. and Bunker was thrown over the tender to the top of the first freight car of the train, ther.oe rolling to the ground. Brakeman James, who mas riding In the cab. was also blown off the train. Engineer En-gineer Purdy was standing on the run-i.lng-boanl, "and escaped Injury. The accident was caused by an overheated over-heated crown sheet. Bunker Is scalded from head to foot, and it was thought last night that he would die. He Is resting more easily to-oay. to-oay. and there are hopes that he will recover. re-cover. Hs runs out of Ogden. but Ills home is In Wlllard. Brakeman Jamrs Is badly burned, but lie will recover.
