Show ENTERTAINMENT FOR EDITORS AT PORTLAND PORTLAND, Or., June 2S. Appropriate Appropri-ate exercises In honor of the visiting members of the National Editorial association, asso-ciation, 300 of them, were held- In the exposition ex-position auditorium yesterday as a part of the Oklahoma day programme. Among the speakers were Gov. T. B. Ferguson of Oklahoma, Col. N. E. Dosch, representing President Goode of the exposition; ex-position; Charles B. Graex. president of the Alabama Tress association; Hon. Joseph Jo-seph Brewster MacCabe of Boston; Roy .Stafford, president of the Oklahoma Press association, and Col. J. P. Mullin of Indian In-dian Territory. In the evening an Informal reception was given In the New York building, at which the visiting press associations were the guests of honor. Besides the National Na-tional and Oklahoma Press associations, there were delegates In attendance representing repre-senting the L'tah and California Press associations. as-sociations. The National Editorial association delegates dele-gates expect to remain In Portland for two days, but may decide to extend their stay. |
