He had been ill for some time, and it Is believed he became be-came despondent. The Coroner gave a certificate of death from suicide. ('apt. Grahcm. was a native of North Carolina and a on of William A. Graham, Gra-ham, at one time Governor of that State and Secretary of the Navy in the Cabinet of President Fierce. The deceased was for three years Secretary of the Civil Service commission during the first administration ad-ministration of President Cleveland. |
