Show RECEIVER ASKED FOR B. & 0. TRANSFER Following the Issuing of an attachment, several days ago for the property of the B. and O. Storage and Transfer company, com-pany, .a petition avas filed in the District court this morning by V. S. McCornlck asking that a receiver be appointed for the transfer company's assets. The plaintiff declares that the defendant Is Indebted to him for a loan of COOO secured se-cured by a promissory note. The company com-pany Is alleged to be Insolvent. O. R. Cleaveland and Thomas Pitt, doing do-ing business as the Cleaveland Commission Commis-sion company, are also defendants to the petition. The latter is alleged to be the plaintiff In a Judgment against the storage stor-age company, and, the Sheriff is holding considerable property belonging to it for the satisfaction of the Judgment. The petitioner declares that unless a receiver re-ceiver Is appointed to conduct the business, busi-ness, the assets will become dissipated. Local Contractors Win. It was learned yesterday that the Salt I.ake Building and Manufacturing company com-pany has been awarded the contract to do all the finished woodwork In the new hotel that will be erected at Twin Falls. Ida. Joseph Dederlchs. a Salt ljke City contractor, con-tractor, was the successful bidder for the structural work on the building. |
