May J5.-Th indtcal tiona are that, the Indian school which waa to have been erected at Pangultch will never be built Benator Smoot has forwarded to the' Indian office the protest of the people of Kingston, In Piute coun-tv, coun-tv, against the use of the Sevier river to dispose of the sewage from the school. The official say they have no other mean of carrying off tn refuse from th school, and if the Sevier river cannot b 1 tilized th school cannot be erected there. It seems th people of Kingston fear th pollution of the river will cause sickness to those who rely upon th river for their drinking water supply, and th officials of th Government ar loath to take th responsibility of ordering th construction of the school when it sanitary arrangements arrange-ments contemplate th use of the river for th carrying oft of th refuse. |
