Show Chicago Grain. . A CHICAGO, July 31. Predictions of frost tonight in Minnesota imparted strength to the wheat market here today. Reports of damage to the Russian crop gave additional ad-ditional stimulus to buying. Pit-traders were active bidders, but offerings were not large. September opened c higher, high-er, at 8484c, and advanced to 85c. Minneapolis. Duluth and Chicago reported receipts of 736 cars against 330 a year ago. In the corn pit the strength of wheat held the market steady. Conditions favored fa-vored the bears. September opened unchanged un-changed to M.c lower, at 62g32c, and sold at 62,52c. Oats were a trifle easier. September opened- unchanged to c lower, at 279 27c. and for a time the price held within with-in the opening range. . An advance of 6i&10c in the price of live nogs had a strengthening effect on the provisions market. Trading was light. September pork waa unchanged at $13.77 Lfdu was up 2c. at $7.27.
