Show LAID AT REST WITH MILITARY HONORS With .dull military honors, the final cerl emony for Andrew J. Burt was conducted yesterday at the funeral parlor of Joseph William Taylor and at the graveside. Clothed In the uniform of a Captain of the United States infantry, the remains were laid at rest. A detachment of twenty-five men and a trumpeter from the "National Guard under un-der command of Capt. Basset end Capt. Hafitlng, and a band of Torrey's rough riders, as Well as a platoon of police under un-der Capt. Burbidge, were present at the funeral. The ceremony wae) conducted by Judge W. H. King. At the City cemetery, where Interment took place, the burial service of the Utah Philippine Veterans' association was read by J. O. Nystrom and J. J. Mfvers. past, presidents of the society. The pallbearers were Joseph Lewis. Jo-eph Jo-eph Bull, William E. Edwards. W. B. Booth, Ray Burton and William Ash. |
