Show 1 BINGHAM HIGH SCHOOL NEWS Bonnie June Olsen I Bingham high school was the scene of a transcribed radio pro- j gram Friday, December 6. This j wa: the second time the "Inquir- j ing Editor" current " events pro- gram featured weekly by Salt j Lake Telegram and KDYL was j Presented at Bingham high. The Program was presented before a general assembly of the student body by H. F. Kretchman, Tele-; gram editor, who plays the role of the inquiring editor- The boys team consisted of George Dimas, Mly Boren, Jack Knudsen and wnedeo Pino. Representing the! girls were Carol Peterson, Jean Jensen, Marilyn Wells and Mar-laret Mar-laret McKellar. The pep band Played the school song and the j entire ensemble joined in the Chorus. The boys won 87-70. At the opening of Christmas , ceremonies at Bingham the high I school band was featured. They I ted a parade from the Central , school to the tunnel and then lVe a short concert. Bon Arnica club honored the j football team last Thursday with a lovely banquet and program given gi-ven at BCO hall. Preceding the banquet football films were shown. The students of the high school were then invited to a dance which was very much enjoyed en-joyed by everyone. Event of the week is the Senior Sen-ior Hop to be held Friday evening even-ing (tonight) in the Bingham high school gymnasium. Music will be furnished by Harold Geertsen and his orchestra- The affair will begin at 8:00 o'clock. The first part of last week X-rays X-rays were taken for tuberculosis at the high school. This service was offered free to all students. Bingham played their first basketball game Monday (non-league). (non-league). The game was at American Amer-ican Fork. The total score of the game being American Fork 51 and Bingham 26. An assembly will be held today, to-day, presented by the junior class. |
