Show SCHOOL RADIO CLUB ATTRACTS STUDENTS The SUGARHOUSE Radio club of If the Irving junior high school has completed three quarters quarters of its first year with man many points of helpful instruction for the youthful aspirants Radio stations stations' in French IndoChina Indo Indo- China Nova Scotia Scotia- and Mexico are area a few ot of the distant stations the lads bave learned to tune in at wilL This club like other clubs o of the chool is controlled by student oUi cers assisted by a 3 faculty advisor as follows George Georg Cannon president dent John Carmen vice president Floyd Knight s secretary and treas treas- Henry Grether club reporter and Thorpe Isaacson school instructor tor or as faculty advisor Twenty five students are enrolled this term and the club is looking forward to a larger enrollment with the ginning beginning of the new year and also hope soon to be able to install a sending set and receive an amateurs amateur's radio li 11 cense cease from the Federal Radio corn com mission |
