Show HEALTH NEWS Reports from local health officers of-ficers and school nurses for the past Week ending January 18. in- I dicate a considerable reduction in the number of cases of influenza influ-enza throughout the state. A total to-tal of 1976 cases of influenza wils renorted for the week as compared com-pared with 2284 for the previous new case of poliomyelitis poliomyeli-tis was reported from Sevier county. The patient is a boy, 7 years of age. According to the attending physician, the patient became ill on the fifteenth of December. Eight cases of tuberculosis were reported for the week. Two of the patients are listed as nonresidents. non-residents. Price city and Ogden city each reported one case of meningitis.
