Show JAYCBES HAVING BUS PETITIONS CIRCULATED In an attempt to get better i night bus service for residents j of Coppertoll, Jaycees this week prepared and an- having circulated circu-lated petitions among Copperton I residents These petitions will be presented to Lewis Bros. Stage Lines Co. Saturday by a committee commit-tee from the junior chamber of commerce. At present, night bus Service from Copperton is not satisfactory. Mrs. Richard Willey. president of the Copperton Study Guild, is in charge of getting the petitions signed. At the Monday evening meeting meet-ing of the Jaycees members voted vot-ed to accept the "Tax Education" committee chairmanship for the Utah state Jaycee organization, but turned down the Victory Garden chairmanship that had been offered by the state group. Jaycees voted Monday to try and get the playgrounds at the Bingham Central school lighted. A committee was named to study the problem and to present it to the Jordan school district board of education. The next regular Jayceo meeting meet-ing will be held Monday evening Julv 9. r |
