Show ! EAGLES HAVE STATE MEETING A banquet, attended by 80 persons, per-sons, Saturday night at MVonic hall concluded an all-day state meeting for Fraternal Order of Eagles, guests of aerie 659, headed head-ed by State President H.R. Gust of Copperton. Lovely roses were used in decorating the tables and hall. Members of the local F.O.E. auxiliary arranged and served tho meal. Judge A. A. Scott of Los Angeles juvenile court was principal speaker. Newly-elected officers include: Frank Andrew, Tooele, president; presi-dent; Clifford Larson, Murray, vice president; Herman Finster, Salt Lake, chaplain; Jack Schlot-terbach, Schlot-terbach, Salt Lake, treasurer; Bert Anderson, Tooele, secretary; John J. Creedon, Bingham, conductor; con-ductor; J. Allen Lindberg, Tooele, Too-ele, inside guard; J. Roy Nielsen, Murray, outside guard; Harold Chesler, Bingham, James Hogan, Salt Lake City, and J. F. Mc-Kellar, Mc-Kellar, Tooele, trustees. Resolutions adopted recommended recom-mended exemption of service men from county taxes; substitution substitu-tion of vocational training school for juvenile detention home, and making the birthday of the late ! Franklin D. Roosevelt a national i holiday. |
