Show B.C.O. HALL TO HAVE FORMAL OPENING AUG. 10 The BCO Hall, formerly known as the Society hall, which has been purchased and is being renovated re-novated by the Holy Hosary parish par-ish will be opened on August 10 and 11, The interior has been Completely Com-pletely rearranged and beautifully beauti-fully refinished. The spacious kitchen has been electrically equipped and modernized in every ev-ery respect The upper floor has been made into a beautiful ballroom, ball-room, which may be also used as a banquet hall. For banquets the hall will be completely furnished furnish-ed with the finest steel folding banquet tables, new dishes and equipment to serve 300 persons An attractively furnished and decorated ladies lounge, as well as a men,'s smoking room are also on the upper floor. The lower floor, the recreation hall, will be equipped with a reading lounge, game tables, pool and ping pong. The building will be well lighted light-ed throughout with attractive fluorescent lighting. An efficient steam plant will heat the build- I ing during the winter months. 1 During the past several weeks painters have been giving the exterior of the building several coats of much needed white paint. The BCO and Ladies Auxiliary Auxil-iary will open the hall formally on August 10 with a dance to which the public is cordially invited. in-vited. Admission to the dance will be $1.00. On Sunday, August Aug-ust 11 a dinner will be served to commemorate the opening of the hall Reservations may be made for the dinner by purchasing your tickets which are now on sale. Everyone is cordially invited. Much credit is due to the men of the parish who have worked untiringly to make the necessary renovations. It is the hope of the BCO and the Holy Rosary parish that everyone in the community will be greatly benefited by the BCO hall. |
