Show CATHOLIC LADIES OF COPPERTON NOWORGANIZED Election of officers, committee appointments and plans for the ensuing year were discussed at Friday and Monday meetings of Copperton Catholic Ladies of Bingham Holy Rosary parish. At the Friday meeting held at Holy Rosary Parish house, a short discussion of plans for the forming form-ing of a League of the Sacred Heart was led by the Reverend Daniel E. Leahy. Further organization organi-zation plans for the league will be taken up at a later meeting to be held at the Holy Rosary Parish house Friday, June 30. Elected to office for the coming com-ing year were: Mrs. Joseph McDonald, Mc-Donald, president; Mrs. Sam Feraco, vice president; Mrs. William Wil-liam Ablett, secretary; Mrs. Mark Muhar, treasurer. Monday's meeting was held at the home of Mrs. Joseph McDonald McDon-ald who announced following committees: Hospitality Mrs. Louis Arri-tola, Arri-tola, Mrs. A. V. Peterson; Flower Mrs. A. L. Redmond; Publicity Pub-licity Mrs. Sam Feraco. A short discussion on religion will be given by the Rev. Leahy at each monthly meeting. Plans on a sale of chances on a pure Irish linen tablecloth were discussed. dis-cussed. Appointed to take charge of this activity were Mrs. R. L. Cunliffe, chairman, and Mrs. Ray D. Carl and Mrs. Sam Pino. Chances will be sold at 10 cents each or three for a quarter, proceeds pro-ceeds to go to Bingham Holy Rosary Catholic church. The drawing date will be announced Following the business meeting meet-ing delightful refreshments were served nine members and one guest, Mrs. Blaine Milner of Copperfield. Next meeting will be held at 8 p.m. July 14 at the home of Mrs. William Ablett. o |
