Mr. and Mrs. Harry Turner and small sons, Dennis Roy and Roger Kent, left for Fillmore New Year's Eve to spend the holiday with Mrs. Turner's sister sis-ter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Don Stuart and daughters. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Ronou-ard Ronou-ard and children of Butte, Mont-, were guests Christmas day and until Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Caulfield. and son, Gus; George Pappaside-ris, Pappaside-ris, Mr. and Mrs. George Pangos of Oakland, Calif., were in Lark Sunday to attend a name day party par-ty for Steve Kalipetsis. Mr. and Mrs. Lon Rawlings had their children and families as guests Christmas day. Present were Mr. and Mrs. Ed Raddon and children of Sandy; Mr. and Ladrue Rawlings and family of Salt .Lake Citv; Mr. anH Mrs. Ross Beckstead, Mr. and Mrs. William Steele and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Keysaw and family. Mrs. Elmo A. Nelson and children, chil-dren, MaReen and Miles, Tuesday Tues-day from Roosevelt where they spent the Christmas holidays with Mrs. Nelson's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Homer P. Edwards. The following girls, enjoyed a candy pull Tuesday evening at the home of Mary Sorenson: Bonnie Bon-nie Jean Johnson, ' Colleen Cree-don, Cree-don, Luana Hansen, Dixie Lou Harryman and Dona Gay Grant. Maurice Jenkins telephoned his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Jenkins, Tuesday evening from Los Angeles to tell them he was recovering satisfactorily from a recent attack of pneumonia. Mr. and Mrs. Noel Kennedy were hosts at a family party Monday evening, i honoring Mr. Kennedy and his. brother, Allen Kennedy, on their birthdays. Their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Kennedy of Aurora, who have spent the holidays in Bingham, were present. Refreshments were served to fifteen. Miss Magdalyn Gust began work at the First Security Bank this week. Mr. and Mrs. Rex' Elmer and Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Elmer have as a guest at their homes over the holidays their mother and mother-in-faw, Mrs. May Elmer of Payson. Mrs. Rex Elmer's father, fa-ther, George Haycock. of Payson, arrived at their home Christmas Eve to visit until Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Anast J. Chipian and family visited Sunday evening eve-ning in Salt Lake City and attended at-tended a benefit entertainment for the Greek school at the Hellenic Hel-lenic Orthodox church in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Esther Clough of Salt Lake City spent the Christmas holidays with her son and family, fami-ly, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Clough and sons. Mrs. B. C. Snyder of the Copper Cop-per hotel spent New Yearns Eve and New Year's day at Max-field Max-field lodge in Big Cottonwood canvon with her sisters Mn LOCALNOTES Mrs. Kate Culleton and Mickey Culleton returned home Monday morning from San Francisco, where- they have spent the past several , months. She is a graduate of the school of fashion design at Woodbury college, Los Angeles, and plans to tak a position po-sition in that field; or if that is unlikely because of war conditions, condi-tions, in a defense industry.
